Sva
stha

Svastha is the Sanskrit term for the state of optimal health. When we have established svastha, the doshas (functional energies) are in a harmonious balance.

According to Ayurveda optimal health requires more than the brand new diet or the perfect workout. It is the interplay of a balanced mind and body working in harmony that leads to a state of peace, happiness and ease in performing one's duties in life.

AYURVEDA

The therapeutic approach of Ayurveda, focuses on the balance of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). They are the fundamental energies, that govern physical and mental processes. Each person has a unique combination of these doshas, which determines their constitution and health tendencies. Health is achieved when the doshas are in harmony, ensuring proper nutrient supply to every tissue. Imbalance in a dosha leads to functional and structural deficits.

Ayurvedic therapies aim to restore balance through lifestyle changes, nutritional recommendations, herbal treatments, manual and cleansing therapies.

YOGA

Yoga lessons with a therapeutic focus are intended to bring body and mind back into balance according to the classical principles of Yoga and Ayurveda. Physical postures, as well as breathing, concentration, meditation and relaxation practices are tailored to suit the specific needs of the individual.

A regular Yoga practice can be an effective treatment for  musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and stress-related illnesses.

Engaging in mindful outdoor activities significantly benefits physical and mental health. My goal is to help particularly women confidently embrace the outdoors, regardless of age and condition. Spending quality time in nature helps develop physical capabilities, balance the neuro-system, boost confidence and self-awareness as well as mental skills such as strength, resilience, and discipline.

As a certified Sports & Fitness Trainer and former professional athlete, I offer guided hiking, cycling and ski / splitboard tours tailored to each individual's skill level, with a strong emphasis on a mindful and conscious experience in nature.

Guided tours are available in the areas around Sintra and Serra da Estrela in Portugal and the mountain regions in Austria and Germany.
